Our Camp Site

History
Kinoshew means "northern pike" in Central Cree. Sakahikan means "lake" in Cree as well. My late great grandfather Sinclair Wynne from Kashechewan, Ontario used to live on this land, it was his trapline. Last fall of 2022, my daughters and I decided to build a eco-tourism and fishing camp.

Location
Our future camp location is located approximately 50 miles northwest of Moosonee, ON. Its nearly 50 southwest of Kashechewan, Ontario. Nearly 20 miles west inland of James Bay, Ontario.

Future Opportunities
The first stages of development is to transport building materials for 4 cabins in the year 2023. We are hoping we start constructing the cabins, and prepare the grounds for camping and outdoor activities. Once the camp is built, we want to start our customer and client intake for our future endeavours.
